ABOUT THIS PROJECT |
Characters in the community projectClub members created these “Characters in the Community” to interact with you, the community, both in the physical environment and on the internet. Through this interactive street art scavenger hunt, you are encouraged to submit a selfie with our characters to participate in thise ongoing dialog. Our hope is for this project to grow beyond our small community. With the help of the internet, we aim to inspire others to create characters and send them out on their own adventures.
The Art Club // Washburn WI 54891
The Washburn Elementary Art Club has
been set up to meet growing student interest for more visual arts time and
activities. There are 24 participating members from grades two through five. We
have two high school seniors assisting us as well. Our club has the
opportunity to work with many materials and projects as well as meaningful interactions with other artists in our community. Look for our projects on display at the
Washburn Cultural Center during the annual Washburn School District April Art Show.
This “Characters in the Community Project” was our final project for the 2015 school year. Pleased with our project results, we're excited to share our creations with you. Our creations have been sent out into the world to have their adventures and we hope you keep us posted as you come across them in your travels. |
